PreciCut

Technology

The Multi-edge rotor has a single slowly-rotating rotor with a hydraulic pressure unit. The desired granulate can be determined by the installed screen. The shredded material output from the machine is carried out by Auger screw or optional by a conveyor belt.
The better kind of shredding/granulating technology for broader application and higher performance than similar systems.

Application

Holzmag shedders "PreciCut" can be fed automatically by means of conveyor belts with bales, blocks, rolls, hollow parts, fibres, etc. Feeding is carried out by a batch or bale feeder or a belt feeder with buffer function. This allows perfect adjustment to the downstream devices.

Therefore:
- Universal application
- Grain sizes from 6 - 100 mm
- One-level shredding

Options

Variables:
- Adjustment of cutting force and pressure
- Cutting frequency and rotor speed
- Power control with adjustable preferences for blocking and reversing control
- Well-defined grain sizes at minimum over- and undersize shares
- Material discharging

Options:
-
Pre-washing unit
- Bar loader
- Lift-/tipping devices

The System

PreciCut is a 1-shaft-shedder with a hydraulic pressing device. The preferred grain size can be defined by adjusting the downstream sieve. The shredded material is discharged by a Auger screw or conveyor belt.

Cutting Technology

The multi-edge shaft prevents heat development through friction of the shaft, creating an air cushion between material and shaft body. Materials such as foils or fibres are stripped off by the edge's form closure to the counter blade and cannot be wound around the shaft.

The patented cutting technology therefore allows
- minimum cutting clearance
- no friction surface
- no wrapping around the shaft
