| 2008 | HOLZMAG AG Recycling Technology has successfully presented its latest technical highlights for the recycling and processing of materials at the IFAT Fair 2008, held in Munich from May 5 - 9. |
| 2007 | Holzmag AG Recycling Technology starts the year with a full order book. New co-workers in the construction, servicing, and sales divisions will focus on sustainable growth. |
| 2006 | The Entsorga trade show in Cologne showcases the PowerCut 830 model, which demonstrates the best RDF processing for 20-mm granulate. The machine, sold to a medium-sized concern, arouses wide-ranging and sustainable interest. |
| 2005 | Our top manager, Hannelore Päper, leaves us after a serious illness. All those who lent their support and tried to fill the great gap during this difficult period deserve our heartfelt gratitude. |
| The PreciCut 8/30 shredding and granulating model for processing aluminium and the PowerCut 830 model for EBS processing are introduced at the IFAT trade show in Munich. | |
| 2004 |
Opening of a testing centre in Achern-Gamshurst, 200 m from the manufacturing plant. Material (shredding/granulating - pelletizing and briquetting) can be tested and processed here. The new Hydropellet pelletizing technology with Holzmag dosing silos for pellet compounds made of wood/plastic or other mixtures is introduced at the K plastic trade show in Düsseldorf. |
| 2003 | Holzmag presents the double-shaft MULTI-EDGE ROTOR DUO at the Entsorga 03 trade fair in Cologne. High performance in terms of granulate/mill material quality and throughput is newly defined with the PowerCut machine. A contract signed with the sector’s largest recycler at this show introduces a series of successes for this technology. |
| Presentation of the MULTIROTOR Holzmag had immediate success with this machine for shredding jumbo bags. Throughput lies at about 1,000 kg/h. Its sale to a nickel-producing multinational firm to shred jumbo bags with unwanted residue provides proof of this machine’s advantages. | |
| 2002 | To achieve more cutting force and develop a shredding/granulating model with minimum noise, Holzmag creates a new generation of the Multirotor shredder/granulator. It generates notably less noise than models already on the market. |
| 2001 | Visitors to our homepage: 40,000 |
| 2000 | Holzmag presents a follow-up development of its control systems for briquetters and shredder/granulators. Meanwhile, the operator panel and touch panel become standard. |
| 1999 | Founding of HOLZMAG Technologies (North America) Inc. in Vancouver B.C, Canada. |
| 30,000 visitors on our website. | |
| 1998 |
Patent granted for our MULTI-EDGE ROTOR (no. DE 42 42 740 C 2) shredder. Internet contacts a big money-making success for the time with 2,500 website visitors. |
| 1997 | A further important step: Holzmag creates one of the first commercial websites in the recycling sector. |
| License agreement to distribute Holzmag components in Latin America with Cajamar/Brazil. | |
| 1996 | Holzmag presents its “Bric Pelletizing” technology and applies for a patent. |
| 1995 | Joint developments of pelletizing technology with our Japanese licensee, Kawasaki Heavy Industries. |
| 1994 | Conclusion of a licensing agreement with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan, for Holzmag recycling technology. |
| 1993 | A further innovation: Tower Dryer technology, applicable for high capacities of plastic waste and foils. |
| 1993 |
Swift development of new shredder types. Holzmag applies for a patent to protect revolutionary new shredding technology. The first new shredder with a multi-edge rotor is presented at the Entsorga trade show in Cologne. They arouse enormous interest. This Holzmag technology opens functional ranges classified as “not recyclable” in the past. Tough materials (especially fibres, film, foils, and woven fabrics) and mixed household waste can now be shredded to definite granulate sizes. |
| 1988-1993 | During this era Holzmag pushes development of a shredder as well as periphery components like bagging systems, silos, and conveyor equipment. |
| 1988 | Holzmag gains European Patent No. 0246388 for its Hydrospeed briquetting press. |
| 1987 | Start of HOLZMAG AG, recycling technology; its main activities focus on material recycling and processing. |
| 1986 | Holzmag presents its new Hydrospeed briquetting machine. |
| 1984 | Holzmag presents its Elan briquetting press. |
| 1980 | Holzmag starts production of its briquetting presses with small capacities of 50 kg/h. |
| Holzmag's experience and knowledge in the wood sector proves that the problem of compressing so many specimens (different granulates, moistures, parts with resin and oil) is not resolved by cone or clamp tongs, Holzmag pushes to develop a new processing press, and soon offers its first results. | |
| 1979 | Distributor agreement is signed for mechanical briquetting machines. |
| 1976 | Founding of HOLZMAG (Holzmaschinen) AG with important distributorships for woodworking. |
